How to get red wine out of carpet
You’ve spilled some red wine over your new light carpet—don’t panic! It is relatively easy to remove wine stains from your carpet, you’ve just got to act quickly. As soon as possible, grab some old towels or a bunch of paper towels and cover the stain (do not add water). Stand on the towels for a few minutes and check after a about 5 minutes. The stain should be gone!

Get chewing gum out of carpet
Chill the area with an aerosol freezing agent or ice cubes in a plastic bag. Once it’s hardened, pick or scrape off the gum. Mix 1 teaspoon of mild laundry detergent with 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in 1 litre of water. Rinse with warm water and you should be done!

- Mix 1 teaspoon of mild laundry detergent with 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in 1 litre of water and apply to the area
- Vacuum immediately, if there is any leftover residue, call a professional
- Repeat step 1
- Rinse with warm water

Has your new puppy had an accident on your new carpet? Be quick and put some cold water on the area before it dries. Mix 1 teaspoon of mild laundry detergent with 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in 1 litre of water and apply to the area. Rinse with warm water then soak up with some old towels.
